Treoracha le haghaidh na n-údar/Instructions for Authors
Is iris phiarmheasúnaithe dhall dhúbailte é An Reiviú.
Coinníonn na húdair cearta cóipchirt ar a gcuid saothair agus tugann cead do An Reiviú na hailt a fhoilsiú agus a dháileadh. Ní ghearrtar aon táille próiseála alt (APC) ná táille leagan isteach, rud a chinntíonn gur féidir le gach scoláire – beag beann ar an institiúid a bhfuil baint aige/aici léi agus ar acmhainní airgid – cur leis nó tairbhe a bhaint as an taighde a a fhoilsítear inár n-iris.
Déanann na heagarthóirí mac léinn agus an t-eagarthóir stiúrtha athbhreithniú ar achoimrí a leagtar isteach, agus déanann saineolaithe sa réimse taighde, nach bhfuil ceangal acu leis an institiúid chéanna leis an údar, phiarmheasúnóireacht dhall dhúbailte ar ailt a leagtar isteach. Cuireann údair leagan leasaithe den alt ar aghaidh tar éis an phróisis piarmheasúnóireachta, agus déanann na heagarthóirí mac léinn agus an t-eagarthóir stiúrtha cóipeagarthóireacht air seo. Socraíonn an dearthóir an leagan seo agus ansin seoltar ar ais chuig an údar é leis an athbhreithniú deiridh a dhéanamh.
An Reiviú is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal.
Authors retain full copyright of their work while granting An Reiviú the right to publish and distribute their articles. There are no article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees, ensuring that all scholars – regardless of institutional affiliation or financial resources – can contribute to and benefit from the research published in our journal.
Submitted abstracts are reviewed by the student editors and supervising editor, while submitted articles are double-blind peer-reviewed by experts in the field, who are not affiliated with the same institution as the author. Authors submit an amended version of the article after the peer-review process, and this is copyedited by the student editors and supervising editor. This version is set by the designer and then returned to the author for a final review.
An Próiseas Eagarthóireachta/Editorial Process
- Eisítear gairm gach mí Dheireadh Fómhair.
- Déanann na heagarthóirí mac léinn agus an t-eagarthóir stiúrtha athbhreithniú orthu seo.
- Cuirtear na húdair ar an eolas go bhfuiltear ag glacadh leis na hailt.
- Seoltar an chéad leagan den alt chuig beirt phiarmheasúnóirí seachtracha, nach bhfuil ceangal acu le hinstitiúid an údair; is próiseas anaithid é an próiseas piarmheasúnóireachta, agus ní mór do na piarmheasúnóirí a bheith ceangailte le hinstitiúidí difriúla le hinstitiúid an údair.
- Léann na heagarthóirí na tuairiscí, agus cuirtear ar aghaidh chuig na húdair iad.
- Cuirtear cinneadh agus tuairiscí piarmheasúnóireachta ar ais chuig na húdair.
- Déanann na heagarthóirí mac léinn cóipeagarthóireacht ar an dara leagan den alt agus ansin cuirtear ar aghaidh chuig an eagarthóir stiúrtha é.
- Déanann an t-eagarthóir stiúrtha athbhreithniú deiridh ar an gcóipeagarthóireacht agus déanann an eagarthóireacht deiridh sula gcuirtear an t-alt ar aghaidh chuig an dearthóir.
- Cuirtear an t-alt deartha ar ais chuig an údar lena athbhreithniú, agus déantar tuilleadh leasuithe más gá.
- A call for papers is issued each October.
- Abstracts are reviewed by the student editors together with the supervising editor.
- Authors are informed if their abstract has been accepted.
- The first version of the article is sent to two external peer reviewers; the peer review process is anonymous, and peer reviewers must be attached to institutions different to that of the author.
- Editors consider the peer review reports and forward them to the authors.
- Decisions and peer review reports are returned to the authors.
- The second version of the article is copyedited by the student editors and then forwarded to the supervising editor.
- The supervising editor completes a final review of the copyediting and completes an overall edit before the article is sent to the designer.
- On return from the designer the article is returned to the author for further review, and further changes made if necessary.

Seiceáil bradaíola:
- Cabhraíonn sé linn a dheimhniú go seachnaítear an bhradaíl trí shaineolaithe ina réimse léinn féin a úsáid mar phiarmheasúnóirí.
- Níl seiceáil bradaíola leictreonach indéanta faoi láthair gur i nGaeilge a scríobhtar na hailt, agus níl brathadóirí bradaíola ar fáil sa Ghaeilge go fóill.
Sciar na bpáipéar ar bhall den bhord é/í an t-údar le dhá bhliain anuas (2024 – 2025):
- De na 36 alt a foilsíodh sa tréimhse seo, baill den bhord a scríobh 8.3% díobh (trí alt).
